Azerbaijani Minister of Culture: “There is no ground for restricting cultural, mass events”

“There is not any limitation on holding cultural events in Azerbaijan due to coronavirus threat”, Minister of Culture Abulfaz Garayev told journalists, APA reports.

The minister noted all checks are conducted at border crossing checkpoints: “If a coronavirus case is found in Azerbaijan, of course, certain limitations may be implemented in relation with holding mass events in cultural centers. However I don’t think in this regard, as there is not a ground for it yet. It is true that the virus has widely spread in the world, but certain measures are being taken by the relevant bodies in the country and it is groundless to talk about mass restrictions in this case.”
