“Quarantine is strictly followed in Wuhan. The entry and exit of Wuhan was put on lockdown. Neither local  nor foreign citizens can leave Wuhan. Besides cities, universities have already been quarantined. We are evacuated, which does not mean that all foreigners have been evacuated. There are a lot of foreigners in Wuhan who have not been evacuated yet. It is due to the power of our state that we were able to leave China in 8 days. Few countries like Azerbaijan have been able to evacuate their citizens,” one of 6 evacuees arrived in Azerbaijan from Turkey Leyla Guliyeva told reporters, APA reports.

L. Guliyeva stated that there are Azerbaijani students in other provinces of China as well: “There are about 500 Azerbaijani students in China. As I know, they are also intensively being contacted, their needs are being met. Probably, their evacuation will be carried out in the upcoming future.”
