Azerbaijani citizens evacuated from Georgia have been seen off from the capital Tbilisi, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

They were seen off to the "Sinig Korpu" border checkpoint by 4 special buses from the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia.

They are being accompanied by employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia.

Today, 150 more Azerbaijani citizens are being evacuated from Georgia, APA’s Georgian bureau reports.

The evacuated citizens underwent PCR tests yesterday and all of them tested negative for coronavirus. They will be seen off to the "Sinig Korpu" border checkpoint by 4 special buses from the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia at 10:00.

Noted that along with Azerbaijani citizens 119 Georgian citizens who have a residence permit in Azerbaijan or married to Azerbaijani citizen, as well as our compatriots who are a Turkish citizen and 8 Russian citizens will also be evacuated to Azerbaijan. Those who will return back to Azerbaijan will not be quarantined and they will be allowed one day of free movement to travel to the area where they are registered.
