"A new social package will be approved in Azerbaijan in connection with the situation caused by a new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic," spokesman for the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers Ibrahim Mammadov said, APA reports.
Mr Mammadov said that if retirees and people released from work and education due to the situation stay at home, they will create comfortable conditions for people who works on a daily base: "But they don't do that. Therefore, the state is forced to tighten the rules even more. It may also limit the movement of people to provide for their families on a daily base work. But I should also note that the state takes them into account. Very soon, probably in the first days of April, the government will adopt and approve proposals for social protection of both individuals and legal entities, as well as groups in need of social protection."
