Azerbaijan’s MIA appeals to population

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has appealed to the population, the press service of the Ministry told APA.

Supreme Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has declared today the liberation of Shusha from the occupation: “The news of the victory announced by Mr. President created a festive mood among our citizens and they went to the streets to celebrate this significant event. We want to remind to our citizens that currently, martial law continues in all of the territoriy of the Republic and curfew is being applied in several cities and regions including Baku from 21:00 to 06:00 in this regard.”

The appeal also reads that a quarantine regime has been imposed in the country in order to fight against coronavirus: “We ask for citizens to take into account these, not to leave their homes from 21:00 by following the requirements of curfew and quarantine regime,” the appeal of the MIA reads.
