BCED: Explosion at Children’s Development Center supposed to be result from underground gas leakage

The Baku City Education Department has issued a statement regarding the explosion occurred at Children’s Development Center #7 of Garadagh district of Baku City, the Baku City Education Department told APA.

On December 16, at about 10:15 o’clock, an explosion occurred at Children’s Development Center #7 of Garadagh district.

Since no gas line was available and no gas was used at the Center’s building, it is initially supposed that the incident occurred as a result of underground gas leakage.

As a result of the incident, the Center’s Deputy Director Nargiz Alamova was injured and was taken to hospital by ambulance vehicle. After provision of outpatient examination and first medical aid, N.Alamova was discharged from hospital and sent home. No pupil has been injured.
