"Consultations are being held in TABIB, which is the medical division of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, on use of ventilation systems in buses during the current pandemics. According to the recommendations of TABIB, a restriction has been applied on the use of the ventilation systems, which circulate weather within the bus. It has been noted circulation of weather within the bus increases the risk of spread of the COVID-19 infection", Baku Transport Agency told APA.
The agency noted that the discussions with TABIB regarding the launching of ventilation system in buses are being continued. Taking into consideration international experience too, the works on some rules are underway. The final decision and rules will be adopted and additional information will be given in this regard: “Until this, the instruction has been given on keeping open the windows in the busses in order to ensure natural ventilation.”
