Cabinet of Ministers makes decision on visas issued to US and Korea citizens - EXPLANATION

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the “List of countries whose citizens traveling in the capacity of foreigners to Azerbaijan Republic are charged a state duty for registration of multiple journey entry visas at the extent defined according to the level of duty charged in regard to citizens of Azerbaijan Republic traveling to the home countries of those foreigners”, APA reports.

The list includes the United States of America and the Korean Republic.

Since the amount of the duty charged for registration of multiple journey entry visas for citizens of Azerbaijan Republic by relevant authorities of the countries included into the list differs from the amount stipulated for the same actions in the Law “On state duties”, according to clause 17.6-1 of the Law “On state duties”, the extent of the state duty has been defined at the level of the duty charged in respect to citizens of Azerbaijan Republic in those countries.
