Clinical investigations have been started on the combined application of Russia's Sputnik V and Great Britain's AstraZeneca vaccines against novel coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the post on the Twitter account of Sputnik V, APA reports.
It has been noted that immune, formed after the first dose of AstraZeneca, decreases effectiveness of its second dose (55%) and that is why there is a need to wait for 3 months for application of the second dose.
There will not be a need for waiting for three years with application of the Sputnik V component after AstraZeneca as a second dose. Clinic trials have already been started in this direction.
