Iran’s General consul in Nakhchivan Seyyed Ahmad Hoseyni has met with minister of Emergency Situations of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, lieutenant-general Shamy Abdullayev, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
The issues of cooperation in the area of fight against emergency situations have been considered at the meeting.
The minister noted that a number of training activities are implemented in regard to natural and non-natural disasters.
He stressed that the training departments have been established as a result of cooperation with Russia.
Sh. Abdullayev also said the Crisis Management Center under the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been provided with up-to-date equipment.
