Coronavirus mortality rate by age disclosed in Azerbaijan

The coronavirus mortality rate by age has been disclosed.

20 people died of coronavirus were at the age of 60-69, said Ramin Bayramli, chairman of the Management Board of the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers today, APA reports.

“And this accounts for 34 percent of the total number of mortal casualties. In general, 1 person in the age group of 30-39 died of coronavirus has accounted for 2 percent of the total deaths, 2 persons in the age group of 40-49 died of coronavirus have accounted for 3 percent of the total deaths, 13 persons in the age group of 50-59 died of coronavirus have accounted for 22 percent of the total deaths, 17 persons in the age group of 70-79 died of coronavirus have accounted for 29 percent of the total deaths, and 5 persons in the age group of over 80 died of coronavirus have accounted for 9 percent of the total deaths”.
