"The patient admitted to hospital in a very severe condition and remained connected to artificial respiration unit for 12 days has recovered from coronavirus and has been discharged home from the Central Customs Hospital", said Khayal Mammadov, doctor of the Anesthesiology and Resuscitation Department of the Central Customs Hospital in his statement to journalists, APA reports.

He said they have been working with patients infected with coronavirus for a long time already: "The moderate-to-severe and severe patients are brought to this hospital. As of now, we can achieve positive dynamics in the patients undergoing treatment in Resuscitation Department. One of our patients has already recovered and been discharged home. The patient’s condition was very severe when he was admitted to the clinics, the total pneumonia of both of his lungs was recorded, and the ice-covered glass image was being observed. I would like to note that the patient is of young age, and while he doesn’t have any underlying disease, his lungs got into a severe condition. Sometimes people say that this virus is gone through gravely by the persons who have other underlying disease, but we observe that even in young persons who don’t have an underlying disease, this virus can manifest itself with heavy aggravations".
