Council member: “Funds raised for Azerbaijan’s Coronavirus Response Fund will be controlled strictly”

“Azerbaijan has achieved succes in the number and recovery of coronavirus cases. This is the result of the work implemented under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” said MP Ziyad Samadzada, member of Control Council of Fund at the at a press conference on the Coronavirus Response Fund of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers today, APA reports.

According to him, there will be strict control over each manat of the fund's resources: “More than 11 thousand people donated to Fund and the process continues. The establishment of the Fund once again shows that the people of Azerbaijan are together with the government. As the President said, our goal is to get out of this difficult situation with minimal losses.”
