As of December 31, 2020, it has been determined that in general, 218. 7 thousand people infected with coronavirus in the country, 184.4 thousand of them were treated and recovered, 2641 died, the number of active cases was 31.6 thousand, the number of conducted tests in order to determine new infection cases was 2195.5 thousand, it has been reflected in the Cabinet of Ministers’ report for 2020, APA reports.
As of the end of the reporting year, 84.3 percent of people infected with coronavirus in Azerbaijan recovered, active cases were 14.5%, 1.2% of total infected people died.
