Deputy Chairman: After providing water, energy, gas, restoration of cities and regions, we will talk about the return of IDPs

"Great return is a multi-vector and complex process," Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Fuad Huseynov said at Yeni TV, APA reports.

F. Huseynov noted that first, it is necessary to determine the amount of damage caused to the Azerbaijani state, the civilian population, our culture, history, ecology as a result of the Armenian aggression: “After that, in connection with compensation, claims will be brought against Armenia in international tribunals and courts. It is necessary to determine the amount of damage done to Azerbaijan by Armenia not only during the Patriotic War but in general over 30 years. In the territories liberated from the occupation, practically all infrastructure and settlements were completely destroyed. Most of the territories are mined. The next step should be the cleaning of these territories both from mines, unexploded ordnance, and radioactive biological, chemical, and other substances.

After that, the construction of infrastructure will begin. After providing the territories with water, energy, gas, restoration of cities and regions, we will already talk about the return of internally displaced persons. "
