"Coronavirus infection is spreading also within the country that requires serious measures," said a member of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Health Minister Viktor Gasimov at a press conference commenting on the announcement of a special quarantine regime in the country.

Gasimov said that no country's healthcare system is ready to prevent a large-scale epidemic. "The disease is mild in 80 percent of people, requires special treatment in 20 percent, and requires artificial respiration for 5 percent. In the treatment of the disease, first of all, personal hygiene must be observed.

The Deputy Minister noted that health workers over the age of 65 will continue their activities.
