“The doctors arrived from abroad, from Turkey and Russia highly appreciated measures implemented by the Azerbaijani doctors”, said Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration at the press conference organized by Task Force under Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.
H. Hajiyev said at this hard moment, the exchange of experiences is important: “There is a growth of cases in Azerbaijan and in such a time, the exchange of experiences is important. When the infection cases decrease in Azerbaijan, our doctors may also travel to other countries to provide help. Such a support is important when there are the infection and death cases among our doctors”.
The Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan noted that the doctors from Cuba will also arrive in Azerbaijan: “Cuba has great experience at global level. Especially, Cuba has great experience in the fight against Ebola virus. There are friendly relations between Cuba and Azerbaijan, and according to the signed agreement, the doctors will arrive here from Cuba”.
