Border control activity is carried out in intensified mode in crossing points on state border in the framework of the complex measures, conducted in order to prevent spread of the coronavirus infection under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, State Border Service told APA.
Border guardians, welcoming persons, who enter Azerbaijan, organize implementation of sanitary-quarantine and other regime measures in the form determined by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in border crossing points and acts in connection with Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB).
On March 25, Chairman of the State Border Service Colonel General Elchin Guliyev visited Samur crossing point of state border and controlled the condition of attraction of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan coming from Russian Federation by automobile roads to sanitary-quarantine measures.
