European Azerbaijan School Education Complex has received accreditation for MYP Programme from International Bachelor Organization, Education Complex told APA.
"We are pleased to announce that our school has been accredited for the MYP programme by IBO! We thank all of our staff who worked very hard to gain this success! Our school is now one of the few schools in Azerbaijan that have all IB programmes!" noted the Complex.
It has been noted that the European Azerbaijan School Educational Complex is one of the few schools in Azerbaijan with all IB (International Bachelor) programs (PYP, MYP, DP).
The European Azerbaijan School has been authorized to implement the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) in 2017 and the IB Diploma Program (DP) in 2015.
Note that the Middle Years Programme (MEP), the second phase of the International Baccalaureate (IB) system for children aged 11-16, is an educational model that encourages students to be creative, able to criticize, and think intelligently. This educational model aims to create a link between students' work in traditional fields and the real world and attaches importance to intellectual development.
The MYP educational program consists of eight subject groups: language acquisition, language and literature, individuals and societies, science, mathematics, art, physical education, and health education, and design.
