The funeral of Azerbaijani citizen Farman Ismayilov, who was killed as a result of a pirate attack on a ship "Mozart" owned by a Turkish company in the Gulf of Guinea, has been brought to Siyazan region where he was born, APA’s northern bureau reports.

He was buried in the village cemetery of Gozagaji.

Note that the ship Mozart owned by a Turkish company was attacked by sea pirates on January 23 in the coast of Nigeria.

15 of 19 people, who were in the ship, have been taken hostage, and 1 has been killed. The killed person is 45-year-old engineer Farman Ismayilov, a resident of Siyazan region.
