Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov signed a decree "On a number of measures to eliminate the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) on the educational process in the country's educational institutions," APA reports.

In accordance with the decision, amendments were made to the “Content and rules for the organization of undergraduate (basic (basic higher) medical education)”.

According to the decree, students who have completed all the conditions of the curriculum at the undergraduate level, including those who have successfully passed the current certification (certification in subjects), are considered to have passed the final certification in accordance with the results achieved in the learning process (general performance indicator). Having agreed with the Ministry of Education, the Scientific Council of the university may present an additional requirement for students to complete graduation work.

The decision is valid until October 1, 2020.
