Fines for violation of requirements of use of mask during quarantine period being determined

The individuals will be fined in the amount of AZN 50, the senior officials – in the amount of AZN 100, and the legal entities – in the amount of AZN 200 for violation of the requirements determined by relevant executive power agency in regard to use of personal equipment protecting respiratory passages from epidemic during the period of the sanitary and hygiene and quarantine regimes, as well as the failure of the senior officials to prevent violation of those requirements, APA reports.

This has found its reflection in the change proposed to be made in the Administrative Offences Code.

According to the draft change, for the repeated committing of this offence by a person subjected to administrative sanction from the day of entry into force of the decision about sentencing to administrative sanction until the expiry of the period of anti-epidemic, sanitary and hygiene and quarantine regimes, the individuals will be fined in the amount of AZN 100, the senior officials – in the amount of AZN 200, the legal entities – in the amount of AZN 400.

The draft law was adopted in the second reading.
