“The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic intensifies worldwide. During the recent 6 weeks, the number of people infected with this disease increased almost twice”, said today the general director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus during briefing in Geneva, APA reports citing TASS.
“The WHO has received information about 16 million coronavirus infection cases and over 640 thousand cases of death from this disease. The speed of spreading of the pandemic increases”, the general director stressed.
