Haji Tahir: "A century-and-a-half-old Orthodox church in Ganja has also been damaged by rocket fired by Armenians"

“Azerbaijan is a tolerant state. There are many churches, mosques, synagogs in our country, Haji Tahir Abbasov, trustee of Imamzadeh shrine, an authorized representative of the chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office in the western region told journalists in Ganja, APA reports.

He noted that a mosque belonging to the 5th grandson of the Prophet of Islam, dating back to the 9th century has been damaged in Gandja: “At the same time a century-and-a-half-old Orthodox church in Ganja city has been damaged as a result of rocket blows. It shows that Armenians do not pay attention to any religion, belief.”
