Hande Harmanci: “168 thousand personal protective equipment brought to Azerbaijan”

As the country office of the World Health Organization(WHO), we are cooperating with the European Union(EU) in the fight against COVID-19, said Hande Harmanci, head of Representation of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan, at the press conference of Task Force under Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

She noted that 168 thousand personal protective equipment were brought to the country within the framework of project "Solidarity initiative for health " two days ago: “After this, in the upcoming future, two more flights will bring personal protective equipment. The project will continue for two years. It is planned to prevent the virus and strengthen the fight in six countries, including Azerbaijan.”
