Head of Department of TABIB: “Initial weapon in fight against epidemics was quarantine”

“The first weapon in fight against epidemics was quarantine,” said head of Department of TABIB Yagut Garayeva at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The head of the department noted that we come across questions more regarding going to districts today: “The incubation period of this disease is 14 days. Any person feeling himself healthy can infect people with a disease by going to the regions.”

Y. Garayeva said that recently a large number of doctors group are coming to Azerbaijan: “We exchange experiences with those doctors. This is a new disease, there is no formed protocol. The experiences are changed regarding in which region treatment protocol impacted well.”
