“Headquarters works for 24 hours, decisions may change due to information,” said Yagut Garayeva, member of Headquarters created under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Department head of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), APA reports.

According to her, currently, it is not possible to answer regarding the extension of time of the closure of Iran-Azerbaijan border: “Changing of time depends on the situation. Currently quarantined people are those who crossed the Iran-Azerbaijan border and they are mostly from the south region.  There are people who applied from another part of Azerbaijan and traveled from other countries. But the number of them is few., At the same time, there are several complainants from the residents of the capital, all of whom are being checked. None of them has tested positive for coronavirus. The protection of medical staff is very important for us and they have been provided with all necessary things. The state has allocated an additional large amount of money for their safety."
