On the initiative of the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year, gifts have been delivered to families from low-income and other vulnerable groups, the Foundation told APA.
According to the Foundation, the action, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Regional Development NGO, will cover up to 100 thousand families throughout the country.
In addition to low-income families, this includes children with disabilities, families with 5 or more children, as well as those who fled their homes as a result of the damage caused during the military aggression by Armenia.
Food delivery to citizens is carried out in compliance with the requirements of the current quarantine regime with the support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Volunteers of the Regional Development NGO take an active part in the implementation of the action.
