How pharmacies to operate during strict quarantine regime in Azerbaijan revealed

Unlike last week, pharmacies are allowed to operate this week, said Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to Ulvi Mehdiyev, pharmacies will be able to operate after including the information about their employees in the icaze.e-gov.az portal:

“However, pharmacies can only operate with a delivery service. In other words, pharmacies will deliver non- prescription medicines to homes if necessary. An employee of pharmacy will deliver the medicine to citizens. Citizens cannot go to the pharmacy for this, it is strictly forbidden. They can only obtain medicines using the delivery service of pharmacies.

But in any case, we call on our citizens to purchase food, water, medicines, painkillers, etc. that they will use during those 2 days in advance so that they do not experience additional difficulties during the quarantine days.”
