The examination and treatment of Azerbaijani veterans by Israeli doctors who arrived in the country at the initiative of the YASHAT Fund has been completed, the Fund told APA.
During 8 days, Israeli doctors examined 141 veterans. 31 of them underwent surgery, 58 were implanted prosthetic eyes.
Recall that the delegation consisting of ophthalmologists for the purpose of medical and humanitarian assistance to Azerbaijan from Israel on the initiative of the YASHAT Fund, and organizational support of the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan and the National Ophthalmology Center named after the Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
