Personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has confirmed that they deserve attention and care of Ilham Aliyev with their rapid and operative response during natural and technogenic incidents," Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov wrote in his article to "Azerbaijan" newspaper, APA reports.
He said that Ministry has repeatedly coped with difficult situation: "For example, elimination of dangerous situation appeared as a result of landslide in the territory of Mingachevir Hydro Power Station, operative elimination of danger during an explosion that led to fire occurred in the transformer and the sixth power unit of the Azerbaijan Thermal Power Plant LLC, rescue of people, who stayed under destruction as 16-storey building collapsed in intersection of Nakhchivani and Murtuza Mukhtarov streets in Baku, extinguishing fire in Oil Refinery, elimination of the incident in Bulla-Deniz field in the Caspian Sea, extinguishing fires in multi-storey residential building in Binagadi district, Sadarak, Diglas, EuroHome trade centers, Sobsan paint factory, removal of consequences of the incident in platform No.10 of the offshore "Gunashli" field and in an oil-gathering station of the Azneft Production Unity, protection of forests and sowing areas from fire, during tens of such kinds of operations relevant forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations demonstrated a real professionalism example."
