Kazakhstan resumes tomato import from Azerbaijan

Consistent measures aimed at elimination of restrictions, imposed on tomato products, which are exported from Azerbaijan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, are continued, the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA.

According to the conducted negotiations between AFSA and relevant bodies with relevant organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as proofs reflecting not detection of brown rot virus and other viruses in examples, taken from different agricultures, freight parties, and tomato products, which were put in sale in domestic markets, 40 institutions, engaged in tomato export to this country, have been allowed for export from January 29, 2021.
