MES conducts patrol service along coast of Caspian Sea

As is known, according to relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic, in order to reduce the rate of spreading of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, as well as to bring down to minimum the health condition aggravations that may be caused by that infection, in a number of residential settlements of the country, the special quarantine regime was toughened from 00:00 a.m. on June 21 until 06:00 a.m. on July 5, the Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) told APA.

During the period of the toughened special quarantine regime, in order to prevent use of beaches in connection with ensuring the citizens’ compliance with the quarantine rules, the relevant forces of the MES functioning in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, conduct patrol service both onshore and with boats offshore along the coast of the Caspian Sea on the territory of Baku and Sumgait cities and Absheron region, as well as Lankaran, Masalli and Jalilabad regions.

“We once again call on citizens to strictly comply with all decisions and recommendations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic in the framework of the fights against the coronavirus pandemic in our country”, reads the information issued by the MES.
