Main State Road Police Department warns people traveling from Baku, Sumgait and Absheron to Azerbaijan’s regions

"Currently, the number of people traveling from Baku, Sumgait and Absheron to Azerbaijan’s regions has increased. We bring to notice of those people that the restriction applied to entry in and exit from Baku, Sumgait, Absheron, Lankaran and Ganja cities is still in force", the head of the public relations division of the Main State Road Police Department Kamran Aliyev told APA.

He said taking into consideration the toughening of the quarantine regime beginning from June 21, the drivers should refrain from traveling to regions: "Such people will anyway not be allowed to pass through the quarantine post. Only the persons traveling to region and having special business trip document, received from MIA’s 102 service permission for participation in their close relative’s funeral ceremony, the persons having referral for periodical treatment procedures on the basis of relevant medical certificate will be allowed to pass through the posts. Only the persons having permission themselves may pass through the posts. But his family members and relatives will not be allowed to pass through the post. In general, no person lacking permission will be allowed to pass borders of the administrative territories in either direction. Therefore, we recommend such persons not to travel a long way and to create density at the posts".
