Today, marches in support of our Army were held in the regions and cities of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
On the night of July 13-14, the enemy tried to attack using artillery fire to seize our positions in the direction of Tovuz on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. While preventing this attempt, Major General of the Azerbaijani Army Polad Hashimov, Colonel Ilgar Mirzayev and several other servicemen were killed.
The Azerbaijani Army repulsed the enemy.
Thousands of people attended the farewell ceremony for our martyrs today, as well as marches in support of the army in Baku and Sumgayit.
