According to the relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Coordination Headquarters was established under chairmanship of Head of Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Nuriyev for solution of socio-economic, humanitarian, organizational, and other emergency issues in centralized manner, as well as connection of activity in this field. Interdepartmental Center and Working Groups in relevant fields are operating within the Headquarters.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev determined concrete tasks for application of "Green energy" concept, restoration and reconstruction of energy infrastructure in the territories liberated from occupation at the meeting dedicated to the results of 2020.
Guided by the instructions of the President, the Working Group has been established on "Energy Supply" at the Interdepartmental Center. In this direction, the meeting of the Working Group has been held with the participation of the head of the Interdepartmental Coordination Center, assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev, Chairman of Azerishig OJSC Vugar Ahmadov, Director General of Azerigas PU Ruslan Aliyev, Chairman of Azersu OJSC Gorkhmaz Huseynov, Chairman of Melioration and Water Management OJSC Chairman Ahmad Ahmadzade and the representatives of other interested bodies.
APA reports that during the event, the issues on ensuring jointly coordinated activities of the agencies operating in this field in the liberated territories, using renewable energy resources in order to create green energy zone, expecting environmental norms and other issues have been discussed, and the exchanging opinions have been conducted around the work to be carried out and steps to be taken.
