“There is a certain agreement between Russia and Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of vaccination of people against novel coronavirus (COVID-19),” Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko told APA’s correspondent in Moscow.

According to him, there is an agreement between two countries in the fields of both vaccination of people against COVID-19, and treatment of coronavirus patients: “I was in Azerbaijan last year. We gave our methodological advice to Azerbaijani friends regarding the treatment of coronavirus and our specialists visited Azerbaijan and took part in the treatment of coronavirus patients. That is why I assess our relations with Azerbaijani counterparts as very warm, friendly. I think that relations between two countries in the field of healthcare are developing very effectively.”

M. Murashko also spoke about his country’s cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of preparation of specialists in the medical field. Minister stressed that I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University closely cooperates with Azerbaijan in the field of preparation of specialists.
