“The preservation of jobs in both public and private sectors during the pandemic period has been achieved”, said Sahil Babayev, minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population during the board meeting held at the ministry via videoconference, APA reports.
The minister said the number of employment contracts has increased by 85.4 thousand from the beginning of this year.
He noted that this growth is mainly associated with the transition from informal to formal employment. The Minister instructed to conduct an analysis of the areas in which new contracts are concluded, to carry out strict control over the electronic system “Notification of an employment contract” to annul contracts after the quarantine period.
