“The interests of parents who avoid sending their children to school due to fear of the virus have been taken into account,” said head of department of Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Vafa Yagublu, APA reports.

According to the head of department, those parents should approach the school administration and sign a special form of affidavit: “This is a special form of awareness and liability. Signing this document, parents confirm their liabilities. The liabilities guarantee students' participation in virtual lessons, watching TV lessons, completing assignments given by the teacher on time, and participating in regular small and large summative assessments (KSQ and BSQ) at school. After signing documents on those liabilities, the parents can reject the attendance of their children in classrooms. If the liabilities are not followed, such students will be categorized as underestimated and will face the problem of remaining in the same class for the next year.”
