Ministry of Economy given authority to fine persons violating quarantine regime

The institutions that will consider the cases about sanctions for the administrative offences envisaged for violation of anti-epidemic regime, sanitary and hygienic and quarantine regimes have become known, APA reports.
This has found its reflection in the change made to the decree of President Ilham Aliyev about approval of the Administrative Offences Code of the Azerbaijan Republic.
According to the change, such cases about the administrative offences stipulated in clause 211 of the Administrative Offences Code (violation of anti-epidemic regime, sanitary and hygienic and quarantine regimes) will be considered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic that has started administrative proceeding for those cases, while the cases regarding performers of entrepreneurial activity and their senior officials will be considered by the Ministry of Economy of the Azerbaijan Republic in the person of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Azerbaijan Republic.
