Mobile selling of masks to be organized at Baku Metro stations

“Fining people for not wearing medical masks is not under the authority of Baku Metro,” said Zaur Huseynov, Chairman of the Baku Metro CJSC at the press conference organized by the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers today, APA reports

He said that in case of decision is made the fine of citizens will be implemented by the police department under Baku Metro: “Why citizen should not wear a face mask? We have already warned regarding this.”

Z. Huseynov said that 17 out of 25 metro stations have pharmacies: “Mobile sale of masks in remaining stations will be organized. At the same time we ask opening of pharmacies at 6.00 in the morning. We ask passengers to obtain masks not at 06:00, but in advance.”
