“Most of the patients who are connected to apparatus for artificial respiration die,” Chairman of Board of Azerbaijan's Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB) Ramin Bayramli said at a press conference by Task Force under Cabinet of Ministers held today, APA reports.

Ramin Bayramli stated that complications and organ failure occur when patients infected with coronavirus are connected to the artificial respiration apparatus.

“ Citizens should follow the rules so that TABIB will not be obliged to appeal the task force and the government to tighten the rules. The health condition of one of  105 people infected today – elderly woman is serious. There are cases that relatively young patients also have a serious illness. The greatest contribution of our citizens will be following the quarantine regime. If those citizens wear the clothes and masks worn by our doctors, they will not be able to bear even an hour. It is hard to breathe in those clothes, even the glasses sweat. Doctors deal with such difficulties, why should it be difficult for people to spend their days at home with their families in return of this?! Along with citizens, medical workers also need psychological support. In this regard, we are creating a Psychological Assistance Center to support our medical staff and our quarantined citizens. We involve experienced specialists here. There are already more than our 3 thousand citizens in the quarantine regime. Currently, some of those infected did not follow the quarantine regime,” Ramin Bayramli said.
