Name of the AstraZeneca vaccine, used against novel coronavirus (COVID-19), has been changed due to the situation in many countries of Europe, APA reports citing Lenta.ru.

After suspension of use of the vaccine in many countries, its name has been changed to "Vaxzevria" on the website of the Swedish Medical Products Agency.

According to information, change of the name does not contain any change, but its logo and package will be different.
