In the parts of Sabit Orujov, Nizami, Mehdi Mehdizade and 28 May streets crossing with Yusif Safarov street, the renovation works are being continued for creation of new junction in the above-listed streets that will make an important contribution to the road infrastructure of our capital city, the Public Relations Department of the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads told APA.
In this framework, the renovation works are implemented in the part of Mehdi Mehdizade street situated between Yusif Safarov and Izzet Orujov streets. In this part, the length of the street is 1 km, while its width is 10.5 meters.
Currently, the asphalt laying works are being conducted in Mehdi Mehdizade street. The renovation works implemented in some parts of 28 May street, and continued now in Mehdi Mehdizade street for creation of up-to-date road infrastructure will also cover Nizami and Sabit Orujov streets, as well as other intermediary roads connecting the aforementioned streets.
In the last phase of the project, a new road junction will be created in the part of Sabit Orujov, Nizami, Mehdi Mehdizade and 28 May streets crossing with Yusif Safarov street. The traffic lights will be installed in the junction in order to organize a smooth and safe movement of the wheeled transport.
