The number of the population increased by 71688 people or 0.7% from the beginning of the year, reached 10053145 people as of November 1, 2019, State Statistics Committee told APA.
52.8% of the population is urban residents, 47.2% is rural residents, 49.9% is male, 50.1% is female. The population density is 116 people per square kilometer.
During January-October of the current year 117752 newborn babies have been registered by district (town) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice and this figure for per 1000 people of the population has not changed and remained in the same level (14,2) in comparison to the related period of the previous year. 53.2% of newborns is boys, while 46.8% is girls.
