Number of appeals considered by the Pardoning Commission exceeded 350 - UPDATED

A regular meeting of the Pardoning Commission under the President of Azerbaijan has taken place, Commissioner Rashad Majid told APA.

According to him, the commission was in full staff: “The commission has worked effectively. We have reviewed over 150 requests. Today, mainly appeals of persons who have committed road accidents were considered ”.

According to him, the meetings of the commission will continue: "Most likely, another meeting of the commission will take place this week."

Note that before that, 2 meetings of the commission were held, at which more than 200 appeals were considered.

The next meeting of the Pardon Issues Commission under the Azerbaijani President in a new composition has started, APA reports.

Meeting of the Commission is held in groups via videoconferencing.

New appeals, received by the Commission, will be reviewed at the meeting.
