"The people we suggest to return from Syria are children. None of children must be punished for parent's crime," said Ombudsman, Deputy Sabina Aliyeva at the meeting of Azerbaijani Parliament today, APA reports.
According to Ombudsman, those children should be helped: "We must develop a special mechanism. The issue concerning us here is the defense of the rights of women and children. Ombudsman institution will also take part in this issue."
S. Aliyeva noted that they intend to establish business relations and cooperate with Deputies: "Conduction of fact-finding mission in regions directly was very essential. We have organized our activity within the framework of Paris principles. Reports, prepared by us, have highly been assessed by international organizations. Our activity in this direction is continued. Our new report will be presented in the middle of April."
