One of the Azerbaijani peacekeepers in Afghanistan infected with the coronavirus

We urge our citizens to refrain from foreign trips as much as possible, said Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration at the press conference organized by Task Force under Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

Mr Hajiyev said that depending on the epidemiological situation, the borders can be closed at any time: "Therefore, if our citizens do not have medical needs, they should refrain from foreign trips as much as possible."

Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan noted that one infection was registered among Azerbaijani peacekeepers in Afghanistan and brought to Azerbaijan: "There is no infection among other peacekeepers."
