Period of restriction, applied on movement of passenger trains, extended until May 31

According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, period of special quarantine regime has been extended until May 31, 2020 at 00:00 a.m, by analyzing current sanitary-epidemiological condition in Azerbaijan, preventive measures, applied in other states, as well as recommendations of the World Health Organization, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC told APA

Although movement has been resumed in regions and cities of the Republic, excluding Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Lankaran cities, and Absheron district, passenger transportation via public transport is not allowred.

Thus, Baku-Tbilisi-Baku (until Boyuk Kasik), Baku-Boyuk Kasik-Baku, Baku-Kocharli-Balaken-Baku, Baku-Astara-Horadiz-Baku, Baku-Ganja-Baku trains will not work until that day.

Restriction, applied on passenger transportation within the country and international directions will be in force until special instruction.
