Quarantine posts set in 5 cities and 12 regions will be removed from January 18, Namidan Piriyev, Chief of the Public Relations Department of the Main State Traffic Police Department told APA.

He noted that according to the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, starting from 00:00, January 18, 2021, the system to leave the place of residence on the basis of SMS permission, registering on “icaze.e-gov.az” portal, service card or a certificate of employment will be abolished in the cities of Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Mingachevir, Shirvan, and Absheron region, as well as in the centers of Lankaran, Masalli, Jalilabad, Shaki, Zagatala, Guba, Khachmaz, Yevlakh, Barda, Bilasuvar and Ismayilli region:  “Quarantine posts within cities and districts were set up to check citizens' permission to leave their homes. As the decision is invalid, those posts will also be removed.”
